Goooooooood morning beautiful people!
Today is a public holiday here in Australia so obviously I’m about to enjoy a relaxing day out in the sun with my friends, eating, having fun!
You guys know what I’ll be doing today *sigh*
So I’ve been getting a bunch of questions about how I stay ~dedicated~ to my studies and the short answer is: I have to. I’m in my final two semesters of uni and I really don’t have a choice haha!!
But what helps for me on days where the LAST thing I want to do is read another boring report or start my essay: MAKE A LIST OF WHAT I NEED TO DO. Seriously. There is something cathartic about list making and knowing exactly what’s on your plate and crossing them out as you go.
This morning, I got up, had a shower, lathered my face in rose hip oil and moisturiser (pictured), changed into some comfy study-inducing clothes and made a list for today:
- Read downloaded articles from yesterday + summarise
- Make outline of research report
- Find International Business article
- Go for run around 5pm
- House chores (vacuum + fold clothes)
- Iron clothes for the week + meal prep + pack bag for tomorrow
If I really want to be detailed, I’ll write the exact time frames for each task, and if there are multiple things under a dot point, I’ll make a mini list under that. It keeps me organised, on point, and productive.
No list = shit will NOT get done.
Also pictured is my diary planner which I use to plan my days and weeks too. I put all my workouts in, things I need to do that day, whatever I feel necessary etc. Even though I bet there are a million phone apps for this sorta thing, I prefer writing it out.
SO YEAH. Dats what ~I do~
Hope this helps & don’t forget to check out my organisation/study tab on my page 4 more info.
